This x-ray belongs to a middle aged patient who had a hip resurfacing some six years back. Within a year, his right hip resurfacing failed. He complained of pain and limp. This x ray shows that there is mal alignment of the socket and femoral components. There are radio lucencies visible beneath the femoral component.
